Hello there to all our blog viewers, releasing today on our Startup Theatre is a Cycling Travel Group Startup based out of Chennai. Started up in August 2015 by Mr.Amarnath, Saddle Addicts Cycle Travels aims to increase the scope of cycle traveling within our country.
The story behind the idea of the startup
The founders of Saddle Addicts Cycle Travels love riding and exploring the countrysides. They felt cycling is the best way to travel since it has the right speed to enjoy the journey and also goes easily with our pockets along with contributing to fitness of the body. After a few cycle trips, he along with his college friend decided to start a cycle-travel group to spread this idea to the country.
Product/Service provided by the startup
Saddle Addicts is a cycle-based TRAVEL group started in August 2015. They design cycling escapades in South India with a touch of authenticity and wish to widen the scope of cycle traveling in India. Cycle touring is quite famous in foreign countries, but it still remains only a sport or fitness regimen in India. The founders aim to take it further to cycle traveling. Currently executed through Facebook and Whatsapp groups, they are planning to release their own website soon.
How is the startup performing?
Started in August 2015, the Startup has been receiving fluctuating responses till now with 20+ riders on some days and only 10 riders on some. It is still doing quite good but the founder is keen on getting the word out more, far and wider.
